THE BLUES BROTHERS ROCK 'N SOUL REVUE (a tribute) also has an interesting story behind it's inception. Tom and Don were already gigging in the early 90's in SOULDIER, an R&B band specializing in vintage Motown, Stax/Volt music. After being asked on at least two occasions (at a regular corporate gigs) if they would provide impromptu backup for two characters who sang Blues Brother tunes (Bob Kohnke & Ron Minegar), Don surmised that it would be more practical to actually work up a show instead of winging it. That was around 1996 so it seems to have worked out OK. The band has played for tens of thousands of people at festivals, nightclubs and parties and still packs them in. They have also recorded a CD of all original music. Video clip
